Dear Gill and Kay,

I am writing to say thank you very much for all you have done. I really appreciate your care when looking after my parents.

I was impressed that you kept a close eye on them, which enabled me to relax and enjoy my holiday without worrying about them.

When Mum had an accident, I was kept informed and the care she received was first class.

I thank you both for always being able to help with all sorts of problems. In the beginning, looking after Dad, who was having so many falls and recently with Mum's fall.

I do not think I would be able to cope without all you have done for my parents. I also appreciate being able to call and talk to you both, about concerns that I have. This you act on.

You always listen and put my mind at rest.

Refresher Training

Dear Laura,

Thanks for the information given on my recently completed first aid refresher course on Monday 23 September I went to support a young man who is a known substance abuser. When I knocked on the door I got no response. I looked through the letter box and could see his legs so I used my keys and went in and realised he was out, checked for breathing nothing all I could hear was you ringing in my saying what to do next, I straight away started chest compressions with rescue breaths, all the time I was screaming for help, a young guy came and called the ambulance. They took over and I was praised for keeping him alive. Thanks to Laura and the refresher course I didn't panic but had to apply all this technique, I've been doing this job for over 20yrs but this was my first real resuscitation. You may think you know it all, but these courses are important.

How it Works

We’ll meet you to properly ascertain your care needs.

We’ll introduce you to a friendly, qualified & experienced care worker.

After your 1st week we’ll check in to make sure all is going well and that you’re happy.

You’ll be given a dedicated Case Manager at Golden Care to assist you with all your queries and care needs thereafter.
